A timeless sauce for a time-pressed cook who likes it hot & tangy. To be enjoyed alongside the likes of Panko Tofu, Tempura Veggies, Spring Rolls, Summer Rolls, Rainbow Rolls, Dumplings, Sushi (?!)…. if it leans asian, you’ve got a hit!
Ingredients
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoons chilli oil, sambal olek or sriracha
- 1 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- Optional: add 2 tablespoons of your favorite nut butter (peanut, almond, tahini)
Preparation
- Wash & chop onion, mince garlic
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl until well incorporated
