Chili Oil Dipping Sauce

A timeless sauce for a time-pressed cook who likes it hot & tangy. To be enjoyed alongside the likes of Panko Tofu, Tempura Veggies, Spring Rolls, Summer Rolls, Rainbow Rolls, Dumplings, Sushi (?!)…. if it leans asian, you’ve got a hit!


Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoons chilli oil, sambal olek or sriracha
  • 1 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • Optional: add 2 tablespoons of your favorite nut butter (peanut, almond, tahini)


Preparation

  • Wash & chop onion, mince garlic
  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl until well incorporated
